Beyoncé posted the first snap of herself with her one-month-old twins Friday around 1:10 a.m. EDT on her Instagram account and captioned it saying: "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today," which was followed by a series of emojis including that of babies, a heart and clasped hands.

In the photo, the 35-year-old mother of three is seen pictured in front of a floral archway reportedly at Beyoncé and Jay Z’s oceanside Malibu residence. Beyoncé is seen holding her newborns. The musician is seen bare foot, donning a blue veil and wrapped in floral fabric. Social media users reacted to the photo immediately and expressed their excitement.

Beyoncé confirmed the names of her twins in the caption — Sir Carter and Rumi, which had been speculated when she and husband Jay Z had filed a trademark for those names.

Here are some of the exciting reactions on Twitter.

The photo had already received over two million likes on Instagram an hour after being posted.

In a Feb. 1 Instagram post, the musician had announced that she and Jay Z were expecting twins. "We would like to share our love and happiness," read the post, which had a photo of the singer wearing a light green veil, with her hands on her bare belly.

"We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters," she wrote in the post.

Beyoncé' s photo on Friday was quite similar to the one in February where she announced the good news. She was pictured, visibly pregnant, kneeling in front of a similar floral background.

The world had been eagerly waiting for the singer to post the first photo of her babies ever since media reports said Beyoncé gave birth to twins in June. But the parents did not disclose any details regarding the twins until Friday.

Beyoncé's father Mathew Knowles had tweeted on June 18, saying: "They're here!" and "Happy birthday to the twins." But Beyoncé's Friday post indicated the twins were actually born on June 14. The couple are also parents to their five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy apart from the twins.

Jay-Z recently released his latest album "4:44" in June, where he made numerous references to his relationship with Beyoncé in many songs.

On a track, which is also titled "4:44," Jay Z opened up about how Blu Ivy’s birth changed him and how his and Beyoncé's relationship began to recover after a rough patch. He raps, "I apologize often womanize / took for my child to be born / see through a woman’s eyes."

He then rhymes about the birth of his twins in the song: "Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles / Took me too long for this song / I don’t deserve you."

In the video of the song, Jay-Z also spoke about how his marriage went through a rough patch, but then began to recover, according to the Independent.

"This is my real life," he said in the video. "I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn't totally built on the 100 per cent truth and it starts cracking. Things started happening that the public can see."

"Then we had to get to a point of 'OK, tear this down and let's start from the beginning'... it's the hardest thing I've ever done," he added.
