Twitter Reacts To Elon Musk’s First EDM Song: Is It A Hit?

Elon Musk may be venturing into a new career path as the Tesla CEO has dropped his first music track with an EDM hit called “Don’t doubt yer vibe.”

Musk announced the song on Twitter after posting the tune to SoundCloud and changing his Twitter handle to “E ’D’ M’” Musk accompanied the song release with a series of pictures of himself recording the song in-studio. The song will be released on Emo G Records, Musk said in a tweet.

According to Musk, he wrote the echoey lyrics and performed his own vocals, which include, “Don’t doubt your vibe / because it’s true / don’t doubt your vibe / because it’s you.”

Social media had both criticism and praise for the new EDM musician as one user said, “Thank you so much for being who you are, hands down one of the most interesting innovators and dreamers of our generation. Love the track, so simple, but catchy and chill. Keep it up Elon!”

Another user, who also had some praise for the track said in a post, “Weirdly inspiring.”

One Twitter user seemed a little unsure of the song, posting, “If you play it backwards you can hear a recipe for lentil soup.”

And another Twitter user just simply said, “Settle down.”

Reportedly the new track hit over 570,000 plays on SoundCloud at the time of writing.
