George Clooney fangirled over his pal, Brad Pitt, in a new parody video promoting his charity sweepstakes with Omaze.
On Tuesday, Clooney released a comedy sketch titled "George Clooney: World's Worst Pandemic Roommate" in which he has a major Brad Pitt obsession, and it's made him almost unbearable to live with. The parody showed Clooney's bedroom walls being covered in posters of Pitt as well as the former complaining that his wife Amal wanted him to throw away a DIY pillow plastered with photos of the "Fight Club" star.
The hilarious video immediately caught the attention of his and Pitt's fans on Twitter and YouTube.
"This is fantastic," Gord Miller tweeted. One fan demanded, "I WANT BRAD PITT TO REACT TO THIS."
"About Brad Pitt...Same George...Same!" another person commented on the parody video, while a fourth person wrote, "I mean... I feel the same way about that pillow. I can't believe how funny this is. So brilliant."
"The Brad obsession is 100% relatable. I even have the exact 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' poster (great movie, by the way). Quarantine things," another commented.
"Humorless people will never understand George Clooney or Brad Pitt's wicked humor and the pranks they did to each other. You have to be very good friends to do those pranks without offending each other," another fan wrote with a laughing emoji.
"Love that this was released just in time for George's big 60! What a great way to celebrate his birthday! Way to give back George! BTW - Hilarious!" another wrote of Clooney, who is celebrating his 60th birthday Thursday.
"George Clooney's & Brad Pitt's bromance has lasted for Soo long!!! I love it!" another added of Pitt and Clooney, who co-starred in the 2001 movie "Ocean's Eleven."
Those interested in winning an all-expense-paid trip to Lake Como, Italy, after the pandemic can enter to win the Omaze sweepstakes through July 15 and donate to the Clooney Foundation for Justice. The prize will cover the airfare and four-star hotel accommodations for the winner and a friend.
Pitt and Clooney have become good friends after starring in multiple movies together over the years. In an interview with GQ in 2014, Pitt was asked about Clooney's comment on him being "unreachable." Pitt stopped for a moment to collect his thoughts before responding.
"Well, you know, George is extremely accessible. He's one of our best representatives. He's funny as s--t. He's a joy to be around. I guess maybe I'm more of a miserable bastard," Pitt said while laughing. "I'm a bit of a loner, you know? I'm more quiet by nature. And coming from, you know, hillbilly country, I'm probably more reserved."
