President Joe Biden's dogs, Champ and Major, appear to be enjoying their new home at the White House.

A new snap of the president from a Feb. 9 photoshoot with White House photographer Adam Schultz was posted to Instagram and Twitter Tuesday and showed the "first dogs" joining Biden in the Oval Office.

In one photo, Biden is standing in front of his desk and smiling next to his two German shepherds. He has his hand on Major's head, while Champ is sprawled out on the floor.

"Not many people have Oval Office walk-in privileges. Happy to report that these two are on the list," Biden wrote in the caption.

Another photo from the same morning shared to the White House Flickr account showed Champ listening in to a meeting with senior advisers in the Oval Office.

Biden's post received mixed reactions on Twitter. A number of users were glad that dogs are back in the White House and even shared photos of their own beloved pets.

"Please. It's THEIR office. You just get to work in it," one person joked of Major and Champ. A second user wrote, "I love having a President who loves dogs again!"

"Humanity back in the Oval Office. Thanks Joe!!!!" another Twitter user commented, while a fourth user said, "DOGS ARE BACK!"

"Sir, I loved during one of your meetings when photographers were in the office, you could hear Champ and Major barking in the background. You have brought normalcy back to the WH! TY!" another wrote.

However, some were not as happy about Biden bringing his pet dogs to the Oval Office. Others asked the president to focus on more important matters for the American people.

"That’s so disrespectful to bring three animals in the sacred Oval Office! Get those old mutts out before they pee everywhere and stain the rugs," one commented. Another wrote, "Mr president this office belong to you and you struggle really hard to sitting this but this president office not for dogs sorry."

"Over 400,000 Americans dead due to Covid-19!!! Not the best time to pose with dogs Joe," a third user wrote.

"Where are our 2000 dollar checks errr 1400 checks? Where is the 15 dollar minimum wage? (should be 25)," another asked.

Champ and Major officially moved into their new home four days after Biden's Jan. 20 inauguration, becoming the first dogs to live in the White House in four years. Former President Donald Trump was the first president to not have a pet since President William McKinley in 1897, CBS News reported.

Earlier this month, first lady Jill Biden was also joined by the two German shepherds in a PSA for the Puppy Bowl to promote face masks. In the clip, she encouraged everyone to continue wearing masks even when just walking their pets because "the unconditional love for a dog is one of the most beautiful things on earth and we owe it to them to keep ourselves healthy."
