Twitter users have mixed opinions on the news that the airing of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's interview with Oprah Winfrey would have been moved if Prince Philip had died.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's friend Gayle King shared on her SiriusXM show "Gayle King in the House" that there was a plan to move Prince Harry and Markle's interview with Oprah if the 99-year-old Duke of Edinburgh had passed away. The revelation offended many especially those who believed that the Sussexes should have not done the explosive tell-all in the first place.

"Find this so disturbing, honestly. Could not hold the interview until he was out of the hospital, but his death would warrant it?!? Wow," one commented.

"There was tremendous pushback on the calls for the interview to be held until he was out of the hospital from that side. This is very disturbing. Clearly, there was a full understanding of the serious nature of his condition. Yet, it moved forward," a second user added.

"When they wanted 'privacy' but do interviews to seek attention and try to get more money from the Windsors....They need to stop. It is tiring and just embarrassing at this point," a third netizen wrote.

"Oh my god. What!? That’s gross. I thought they wanted privacy?" a different user stated.

Meanwhile, some reacted to the report about the planned delay of the airing of the interview depending on Prince Philip’s condition with sarcasm.

"How thoughtful," one commented sarcastically with rolling eye emoji.

"Such compassion," another wrote.

Meanwhile, some felt that the interview did not work well for the Sussexes. Others felt that King was speaking too much for the Sussexes while a different user doubted her reports.

"I really think this whole interview Oprah/Gayle fiasco made more people dislike them," Erin Loden wrote.

"Gayle talks too much," another commented.

"Gayle is now not only that woman who got a career in Tv thanks to being Oprahs friend. but also now Meghans PR mouthpiece. So take her crap with a grain of salt," @marcgilllll added.

King made several revelations about the Sussexes. She also said on "CBS This Morning" that Prince Harry has already talked to his father Prince Charles and brother Prince William. However, their conversations were "not productive." Many also slammed King for sharing the details of a "private conversation" between the royals.
