Twitter Reacts To Prince William Cheating On Kate Middleton With Duchess’ Friend Rumor

Prince William is allegedly cheating on his wife, Kate Middleton, with one of her friends, according to recent rumors.

Rumors recently surfaced claiming that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are heading to splitsville because the future king is cheating on his wife with her friend, Rose Hanbury. The rumor began after reports claimed that Middleton and her friend Rose had a “terrible” falling out.

Elaine Lui, co-host of CTV’s daytime talk show “The Social,“ said that rumors of Prince William cheating intensified due to Giles Coren's tweet. Coren commented about the alleged cheating scandal, saying that he had been aware of it.

“Yes. it is an affair. i haven’t read the piece but i know about the affair. everyone knows about the affair, darling (sic),” he wrote on Twitter.

The post has since been deleted, but Twitter users were able to get a screenshot of it. Coren is a well-connected member of the British media, so his comment gained attention. However, according to Lui, he has a reputation of being “deliberately provocative and seeking controversy.“

The CTV “etalk” reporter added that Coren is “fanning a fire that’s been smoldering.” Everyone is now waiting for whether the issue will blow over or if the House of Cambridge can contain it.

Netizens seemed to have had different reactions to Prince William’s alleged cheating scandal. Many believe in it, while some are convinced that the claims against the second-in-line to the throne are not true.

“Possibly you'll see The Sussexes and Wills cause Wills and Kate could be splitsville due to Wills extramarital affair with Rose,” one netizen wrote.

Another user social media user, who is an avid fan of Duchess of Sussex Meghan, recalled how Rose accompanied Prince Harry on his first royal banquet. She claimed to be well-connected with the royal family, before adding, “I wouldn’t be surprised if William having an affair.”

A different Twitter user believes the claims, saying that it could be the reason why the Duchess of Cambridge is very skinny. She added that Prince William and Middleton’s acts of love after Markle’s arrival could have been fake.

Another said it’s not surprising as Prince William is Prince Charles’ son, and the heir to the throne also cheated on his first wife, Princess Diana, with Camilla Parker Bowles.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Middleton’s supporters refuted the rumors. Donna Lynn Douglass defended Prince William from the cheating scandal, insisting that he is not having an affair and that the critics should “get over yourselves.”

“No way. Prince William too intelligent to cheat on Kate. He has a very contented married life. He has a normal life with Kate’s family when he needs to de stress,” Twitter user Tulip wrote.
