Apple chairman and former CEO Steve Jobs has died. He was 56.

The mind behind countless technological innovations and products, Jobs died from a longtime battle with pancreatic cancer dating back to 2004. He took multiple leaves of absence from the company before finally resigning as CEO on Aug. 24 and appointing COO Tim Cook to replace him.

As the world mourns the loss of the legendary Jobs, most have taken to Twitter to express themselves and give their last thanks to the man responsible for some of the world's greatest computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, and music players.
