Jana Duggar got the netizens' support, but her parents are taking the heat from Twitter users after she was charged with child endangerment.
Jana, 31, made the headlines a day after her older brother, Josh Duggar, was convicted of child porn possession. The former "Counting On" star was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She was cited with the misdemeanor at her home in Springdale, Arkansas on Sept. 9. She pleaded not guilty to the charge. Meanwhile, the netizens are coming after her parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar because they felt that the two have been giving Jana too much work.
"Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar have so many kids(19) & they do not watch them. Older kids have always been responsible for the care of younger kids & Jana, the oldest daughter, has spent her life caring for her siblings. Too many for her to watch," one tweeted before asking, "Where are [the] parents?"
"Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are nothing but vile douchebags who birthed too many children. Their family has fallen from grace in disgrace. Jana Duggar is now charged with neglect and endangering a child. Maybe her parents should be parents and watch their own fu--ing kids," another added.
Meanwhile, another user defended the "19 Kids and Counting" patriarch and matriarch from those slamming them for having too many kids. "You are pretty shi--y to say if someone birthed too many children. It’s their body, their choice, you should be accepting of that," the netizen wrote.
On the other hand, several netizens urged Jana to just move on and leave her family. One said it's time for Jana to "quit doing the mother's damn job." Another said Jana got into trouble for raising all her siblings, nieces and nephews when it's not her responsibility. The netizen urged Jana to "get out of this mess and run far away!!!"
Jana's cousin Amy Duggar King also showed her support to Jana in a post on her Instagram Story. According to Amy, the incident was not intentional and the child was already OK. She also sent her love to Jana.
"I bet you were exhausted, stressed and just emotionally worn out. Watching multiple kids is hard! [Because] there are so many of them and you only have two eyes!! It's a very sad situation going on and my heart goes out to @janamduggar, love you," King wrote.
