Twitter Users On Donald Trump’s Reaction To Mar-a-Lago Renovation: POTUS Wants To Get ‘Free Work'

Donald Trump was not happy with the Mar-a-Lago renovation made by his wife Melania Trump, and some of the netizens claimed that it was a typical Trump reaction, so he would not pay for the service.

Trump was reportedly mad at the staff at Mar-a-Lago three days before Christmas because he wasn't happy with the changes made in his private quarters that were overseen by the FLOTUS. But some netizens felt that he only reacted that way to avoid paying for the renovation.

"Wait! We gotta hear Trump reason for not paying for the renovation at Mar-a-Lago. True Trump. Find fault then refuse to pay the bills. His cronies follow his lead contractors/ working people don't get paid," one commented.

"Whoever is working on the Trumps renovation, good luck, he says he doesn't like it. Translation: He won't pay you for the work," another added.

"Poor little Donnie Trump, he’s not happy with the renovations at mar-a-Lago. His way of getting out of paying for it, and any labor work, and any materials, and anything involved in the renovation he will make them take him to court and I’ll never see a dime. Not one dime," a third netizen wrote.

"@realdonaldtrump rant about Mar-A-Lago renovation he hates is standard Trump M.O. to not pay for services rendered. Ask any contractor: He hates the quality; it's ugly, nothing like agreed. Sue him, he's not paying for this crap," a fourth user opined.

"Trump back to old tricks- orders a few million dollars in renovation to his property in Fl. Once contractor is complete, then Trump says work is bad refuses to pay and throws layers at them. Trump loves to get free work while bk contractors," a different user wrote.

"He’s pretending to be angry. This is his game to not have to pay contractors. Ask Michael Cohen," another added.

Meanwhile, some defended the POTUS by criticizing the first lady. Some said they understood Trump's reaction because they also didn't like Melania's taste.

"If the renovation of the Rose Garden is an example of Melania's taste, I can understand why Trump is pissed off," one wrote.

"If @FLOTUS renovation at Mar-a-Lago is any [t]hing like her renovations of the White House Rose Garden, no wonder Trump is grumpy. She not only destroyed history, it ended up looking like Gorka Park in Russia. Mitch isn't the only *itch in Putin's pocket, Melania's right there too," another added.

Another criticized the first lady and said she had taste for s--t while suggesting that Trump seemingly asked for his supporters to fund the renovation.
