Twitter Users React To Claim Meghan Markle Told Friends Palace Favored Kate Middleton

Twitter users have reacted to the claim that Meghan Markle allegedly told her friends that the palace favored her sister-in-law Kate Middleton over her.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already moved on from their life in the U.K. They are currently living in the United States with their son, Archie. However, there are still many reports about Prince Harry and Markle.

A source told Daily Mail that Markle was bitter toward Middleton. The former “Suits” star allegedly told her friends that the palace favored her sister-in-law more. An unidentified source claimed that Markle said the palace would have acted if the U.K. tabloids attacked Middleton instead of her.

Twitter users have mixed reactions to the report. However, many went on and lambasted Markle because she complained even though it is a given that the palace would favor Middleton because the latter is the future queen consort. The Duchess of Cambridge is married to Prince William, the third in line to the throne.

“Of course they favoured Kate. She is our next Queen and mother of a future King. She has served her apprenticeship over many years and hasn't put a foot wrong. Meghan, on the other hand, is a completely different kettle of fish,” @annan091218 commented.

“Eventually, she will be the wife of a King. Meghan will just be Meghan,” @CSM79RV7 added.

“Duh, of course Kate is favored. Her husband will be king. Meghan still doesn’t get it,” @iVictorH1 opined.

“Kate isn't picked on because she's not nauseating,” @worldnoteurope wrote.

Meanwhile, several also questioned the report because it came from Daily Mail and the source wasn’t mentioned. The Duchess of Sussex sued Daily Mail for publishing her personal letters to her father.

Also, Daily Mail is one of the four major tabloids that Prince Harry and Markle won’t be working with anymore, along with Express, Mirror and The Sun. The Sussexes said that “there will be no collaboration and zero engagement” from them with the outlets moving forward.
