Two Florida Sisters Went Missing After Mother Allegedly Stabbed Ex-Husband And Fled

A missing child alert has been issued in Florida after two minor girls and their mother went missing. Police said the mother critically stabbed her ex-husband and believes that she has taken the girls.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert on Nov. 14 after Natasha Hurtado, 10, and Lilianna Hurtado, 13, were reported missing. They were last seen near 1140 block of Greenstone Boulevard in Heathrow, Florida with their mother, 32-year-old Di'Last Kellie. Law enforcement officers believe Kellie is “armed and dangerous.”
Deputies in Seminole County are searching for Kellie after she allegedly stabbed her ex-husband in the chest, police said.
Police were called to a residence in the Colonial Grand Apartments in Lake Mary around 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 13. Responding officers found a stabbed male victim, identified as Kellie’s ex-husband, WFTV reported. "The male victim told deputies his ex-wife, Di’Last Kellie, stabbed him in the chest with a knife then fled the scene in an unknown direction of travel," the Seminole County Sheriff’s office said in a statement on Facebook.
The male victim was rushed to a hospital and is in critical condition. The motive behind the stabbing is unclear.
Officials described Natasha Hurtado as a white-Hispanic female, with brown hair and brown eyes and is around 4 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 80 pounds. Similar to her sister, Lilianna Hurtado has brown hair and brown eyes. She is around 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds, according to WTVJ.
Kelli was last seen wearing a black hoodie. She is around 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of these children to contact the Seminole County Sheriff's Office at 407-665-6650 or 911.
Last month, a 21-year-old woman was found murdered in her apartment and her 1-year-old daughter was reported missing, Illinois police said. The crime came to light after officers ran a welfare check on the woman after she failed to respond to their calls and show up at her work. Officers believe the child may have been abducted but, there wasn’t enough information to issue an AMBER Alert.
