Tyga Facing Financial Woes; Girlfriend Kylie Jenner Summoned To Answer Questions Under Oath

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner is in a better place with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Tyga, but their relationship has hit a road bump after she was dragged into Tyga’s legal battle.

Tyga was sued by celebrity jeweler Jason Arasheben back in 2013, according to ET, since the rapper owed him an “excess of $270,000” in unpaid jewelry.

Arasheben's attorney, Danny Abir of Abir, Cohen, Treyzon and Salo, said that they want to determine Tyga’s means of supporting his lavish lifestyle. They are going to question Jenner about all the gifts she has ever received from the rapper, such as the $320,000 white Ferrari 482 Italia for her 18th birthday and a $200,000 black Mercedes Maybach for her 19th birthday this year. He also gifted her with a snakeskin Gucci handbag and a diamond promise ring.

Tyga and Kylie are going to be questioned “between now and Oct. 6” in a private setting. The two will be questioned separately.

“Our client, Jason of Beverly Hills, has a judgment against [Tyga]. Until he pays off this judgment, unless he has other means of paying off this obligation and does, his sources of income used to buy these extravagant gifts or to support such a lifestyle should be used to satisfy his obligation,” Abir explained. “That potentially includes the gifts themselves.”

“We will ask him questions related to his finances, such as to his source of income to support his lifestyle as well as to pay for the extravagant gifts he buys Ms. Jenner,” he added. “He will have to answer under oath and so will Ms. Jenner.”

Earlier, Kylie told Allure that she hopes to live a normal life in the future, sans all her fame and material possessions.

“I can't remember what it's like not to be famous. So I'm able to appreciate what true happiness is all about. A new car, that’s not real happiness. That lasts a month. That's short-term happiness. [Happiness is] being with your friends, right?” she said.

For the lip kit maven, happiness also means a future with Tyga. A source close to Kylie told E! News that she and Tyga have actually discussed marriage already.

“Kylie has brought up marriage with Tyga to her friends lately, both jokingly and seriously,” the source said. “It wouldn't happen now but she's been thinking about it more and wants a future with him.”
