Tyga Responds To Kylie Jenner Pregnancy News After Claiming Baby Is 'My Kid'

Kylie Jenner is expecting her first child with rapper Travis Scott, according to reports. After the news broke, Tyga’s Snapchat account posted and quickly deleted a claim that the baby was “my kid,” which temporarily stirred fan confusion. But paparazzi on Friday caught up with the rapper on Rodeo Drive, where Tyga responded to a question about the legitimacy of the claim.

Tyga, 27, who was Kylie Jenner’s longtime boyfriend before the pair parted ways earlier this year, was tracked down by a TMZ photographer while out in Los Angeles with a friend. Tyga was mum when dogged about the Kylie Jenner pregnancy rumors, but the rapper did respond to a question that asked specifically about the bizarre Snapchat deleted from his account.

“That’s fake,” the rapper told the photographer. He gave no further explanation for why the Snapchat was posted to his account.

Asked whether he was happy for Jenner, Tyga’s friend interjected, “He’s a great dad, man.”

Tyga has 4-year-old a son, King Cairo Stevenson, with reality star Blac Chyna, 29, who is also the ex of Kylie Jenner’s older brother Rob Kardashian, 30. Chyna and Kardashian also have a baby girl together over whom the two recently settled a custody battle.

The bombshell revelation about Kylie Jenner’s pregnancy was made Friday by gossip site TMZ and corroborated by several other outlets including CNN, which claimed its sources confirmed the news. The 20-year-old lip kit mogul reportedly revealed the news to friends and family in early September at this year’s Day N Night Fest, which featured Scott on its roster of high-profile performances. Kylie Jenner and Scott, 25, were rumored to have started dating in April.

Neither Scott nor Kylie Jenner has publicly confirmed the pregnancy news, though TMZ reported that an insider claimed Scott “was at a recent event telling people about the pregnancy and how his life was going to change.” Though TMZ was unable to confirm the rumor, the gossip site also claimed the two were expecting a girl.

Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner, 61, was spotted Saturday morning while front row at Bottega Veneta during Milan Fashion Week at which Kendall Jenner, 21, was modeling. Asked about the rumor that her youngest daughter was pregnant, Kris Jenner said she was surprised to hear the news had broke but would neither confirm nor deny the pregnancy.

“It wouldn’t be the family if something didn’t happen every single day,” the momager told reporters.
