Tyra Banks Celebrates Valentine’s Day With Photo Reveal Of Her ‘Miracle Baby’

Supermodel Tyra Banks shared the first photo of her baby son with an emotional Valentine’s Day message on social media.

The “America’s Next Top Model” host took to Instagram on Sunday to show an adorable picture of herself with baby son York Banks Asla, E! News reported. Banks wore a blue top and had a colorful bandanna wrapped around her head, while she held baby York close to her chest.

She included a message on Instagram where she stated that Sunday’s Valentine’s Day was a very special day for her. "This is the Happiest Valentine's Day of my life. York, Daddy @erikasla and I send you so much love,” Banks wrote. The photo was also shared by Banks’ boyfriend Norwegian photographer Erik Asla on Instagram. He captioned the image, “Mother and Son.”

Banks surprised her fans and close friends when she announced the birth of her son York, through a surrogate in late January. She had been struggling to become pregnant over the past few years and had even tried IVF treatments but that proved unsuccessful. The couple then decided to use a surrogate.

The supermodel also took to Instagram in late January to announce her baby’s arrival. Banks said on the social media site that baby York was the “best present” that she and boyfriend “worked and prayed so hard” for. She also thanked the woman who carried baby York for nine months and called her an “angel of a woman.” Banks even described her son as “miracle baby” in her Instagram post.

She also told People magazine earlier that she will continue to pray for other women who were struggling with fertility issues. “As I gaze into the beautiful eyes of my son, I think about all the people who struggle with fertility or carrying a child and continue to pray for them every day. My hopes and dreams are filled with well wishes that they get to feel what my little treasure, York Banks Asla, feels like in my arms,” she said.

Banks and boyfriend have been in a relationship for two years before they welcomed their son York in January.
