Tyrese Gibson has shared a heartbreaking update about the condition of his mother, Pricilla Murray, who was admitted to the intensive care unit after getting diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia.

The 43-year-old actor took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of the hallway right outside his mom's ICU room and wrote, "The Doctor sat in this chair and just broke my heart by telling me there's pretty much nothing else that can be done to turn things around."

Despite this, Gibson is still hopeful. In fact, his post also included how he reacted to the doctor's heartbreaking news.

"I paused, and in my most sincere voice I asked him.... You ever heard of a man name Jesus Christ? Nothing is impossible for him…… Ha paused and couldn't respond…!!" he noted.

Fans and fellow celebs flooded the post's comments section with prayers and messages of support.

Record producer Troy Taylor said, "Jesus has the Final Say," while singer Yael Hilton wrote, "Covering you all in prayer."

"Come on @tyrese! Speak! God can do it still! Nothing is too hard for him. Not one thing. With you. Love you!" a fan commented.

"Prayers staying up always my friend love yah and stay strong," another supporter noted.

On the same day, the "Fast and Furious" star shared a snapshot of himself while visiting his mother in her ICU room. Though his mom's face was not visible in the photo, the actor could be seen holding her hands.

Gibson revealed on Instagram over the weekend that he was in the middle of filming when he received the "worst phone call." He also shared that his mother has been in a coma and suffering from pneumonia.

"And she caught Covid they got her so sedated she can't breathe or even eat on her own," he added.

"This has been going on all week I haven't posted," he said further. "I'm doing it this time cause I feel helpless this is my cry for help…. I need prayers the most sincere prayers from you prayer warriors."

On the work front, Gibson will be next seen in the movies "Morbius," "Come out Fighting," "The System," "Helen's Dead," "Bosco," "April 29, 1992," "Fast & Furious 10" and "Desert Eagle."
