KEY POINTS
- A unification bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk fight is believed to be a boxing match to make

- The Fury vs. Usyk clash could happen in February, with Abu Dhabi or Qatar being the location
There remains no clarity on whether Tyson Fury will make his return to the boxing ring and take on unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in a super-fight.
For Filipino-American boxing analyst Ryan Songalia, this is the fight that people will want to see.
"The only unfinished business either guy would have is against each other. So I would like to see that fight. I would like to see them settle this once and for all. I think what dictates that is finances more than anything. There is a lot of money to be made when you have two undefeated heavyweight champions," Songalia stated in an interview with PTV Sports
In a previous report here on the International Business Times, it would be recalled that "The Gypsy King" was hardly impressed with the performances of Usyk and Joshua when the Ukrainian authored a repeat win over Fury's compatriot.
When asked to comment on Fury's fiery statement on the turnout of Usyk's rematch against Anthony Joshua, Songalia feels that it was the Brit's way of letting the boxing world that he is still around.
"A couple of thoughts. I think that he's being a showman. He is trying to aggrandize himself. He talks about this being the worst heavyweight championship fight of all time," the pundit explained.
"Tyson Fury, he has something to say. And I think he may feel a little threatened by Usyk's position. Usyk beat Joshua twice."
According to a report from ESPN, a plausible date to see a Fury vs. Usyk showdown could be in February as Fury's promoter Bob Arum has ruled out a bout happening in December.
Furthermore, the marquee matchup is unlikely to happen in Saudi Arabia. Rather, it could be held in Abu Dhabi or Qatar instead.
