Uber Driver Appears To Receive Oral Sex From Passenger In Video
An Uber driver has been accused of being physically intimate and receiving oral sex from a passenger during a drive with a customer earlier this month, according to a post from an Uber user.
Boston resident Aner Manuel posted on Uber’s Facebook page about a drive he took with Uber in mid-July. According to Manuel via Gizmodo, the driver already had a female passenger when he entered the car. In the video Manuel embedded with the post, the passenger and driver are seen beginning to kiss each other while the driver is behind the wheel.

Here’s Manuel’s full post about what happened next:
On Sunday July 16th I received the most dangerous and inappropriate uber ride ever. As I approached my uber, I noticed there was a passenger in the front seat. I double checked to make sure I didn't select UberPool, and then approached the car. I assumed it may have been a family member of some sort. As we pulled off the female in the front (who was clearly on drugs) attempted to open the door and could not even sit straight as the vehicle was in motion. She then began to grope him and grab him. They began to kiss and she began loosening his belt. As we got further and further from my pickup location I had no idea where I was, so I had to stay in the car. She then proceeded to perform oral sex. This was my last straw. I asked the driver to drop me off. Since I've contacted uber and they refunded me for trip and gave me a "$10 credit". They've seen this video and are still "investigating". They have been extremely bad at answering any messages I've sent, and I demand something gets done. This is not okay!
For the Uber driver, the reported behavior would likely be a clear violation of the ride-hailing service’s driver rules, which requires drivers to drive safely and be “courteous and professional” during routes. In a statement, Uber said it initially received an in-app report from Manuel and is investigating the video and incident.

"The behavior of this former driver is appalling and is not tolerated on the Uber app,” Uber said. "As soon as this situation was reported to us, we immediately removed this driver's access."
The clip also comes at a less than ideal time for Uber. Earlier this year, Uber started an extended campaign aimed at revamping its policies and rules for drivers. The company has also started to figure out its next moves after a string of public scandals that led to the departure of former CEO Travis Kalanick.
