UFC 228 Fight Card: Betting Odds, Start Time For Woodley vs. Till

There’s still one UFC pay-per-view left before Conor McGregor returns for arguably the biggest MMA fight of all time. UFC 228 is scheduled for Saturday night in Dallas with the welterweight title fight between Tyron Woodley and Darren Till headlining the card.

Woodley is the longest-reigning current male champion in the company, having won the belt two years ago with a first-round knockout of Robbie Lawler. He nearly didn’t make weight Friday but came in at exactly 170 pounds the second time he stepped on the scale. The champ is actually a slight betting underdog against the challenger, who is undefeated in his pro MMA career with a 5-0-1 record in the UFC.

A second title fight that was supposed to be on the card was pulled Friday. UFC flyweight champion Nicco Montano won’t defend her title against Valentina Shevchenko. The champ was taken to the hospital Friday due to health concerns ahead of the weigh-in.

The main card for UFC 228 starts at 10 p.m. EDT on PPV. Four preliminary fights will air on FX starting at 8 p.m. EDT. The first of four preliminary fights that will be broadcast on UFC Fight pass starts at 6:15 p.m. EDT.
