UFC analyst Joe Rogan has said that former UFC two-division title holder Conor McGregor could pocket $100 million should he find a “fight that’s fun.”

The MMA community is waiting for UFC superstar Conor McGregor’s return and until now, it is not guaranteed whether Mystic Mac will fight inside the octagon or the boxing ring. UFC analyst and long-time commentator Joe Rogan made a big statement regarding McGregor’s return on a recent episode of “Joe Rogan Experience Podcast.”

Rogan strongly believes the reason why McGregor has not agreed to fight somebody lately is because the former champ is waiting for a fight “that’s fun.” Rogan even noted that McGregor could make a whopping $100 million in that said fun fight, MMA News noted.

“Whatever he wants… probably do a lot of coke [laughs]. I’m just kidding. I think he’s going to have some fun. I think if he finds a fight that’s fun — he’s got $100M in the bank — if he finds a fight that’s fun, he’s going to do it,” Rogan said.

Based on Rogan’s opinion, it is easy to assume that McGregor is looking for a fight that would allow him to make a huge amount of money. And this is also what Rogan means with the “fight that’s fun” that he is referring to.

The 51-year-old analyst then continued by stating that the UFC wanted The Notorious to fight one of the most famous strikers in the promotion Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone which eventually was shut down because McGregor apparently wants the fight to be a main event. A demand which the UFC won’t grant because the promotion only put big title fights as headliners of an event.

“They wanted him to do [a fight with Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone]. There was talk of him doing a Cowboy fight, but he wanted to be a main event, but the UFC wants main events to all be big-time championship fights. They think somehow that having no championship title on the line, it wouldn’t be that valuable.”

This statement is very important for both McGregor fans and MMA fans as this could support UFC president Dana White’s previous statement pertaining to the former UFC champ reportedly being afraid to take fights, Bloody Elbow reported.

“No, Conor hasn’t turned down anything,” White said.

“Conor has been one of the most stand up [guys], when things get crazy and most people pull out of fights, Conor McGregor stays in. McGregor isn’t afraid to fight anyone so that is absolutely false,” White added.
