  • Donald Trump starts bid for re-election
  • Dana White renews his support for the POTUS
  • White and Trump have been friends for two decades

Dana White is once again behind US President Donald Trump as the latter bids for re-election. The president of the UFC has remained in close ties with the POTUS that the renewal of his support is anything but surprising.

White, in fact, joined Trump in Thursday’s campaign rally and exclaimed "We gotta win this election again!" while stepping at the podium during the event held in Colorado.

According to TMZ Sports, Trump invited White and actually flew together going to last week’s rally. “White flew on Air Force One with DT, and when Dana stepped to the podium in front of thousands of Trump supporters, he raved about his longtime buddy,” the report wrote.

The pals have established a close-knit relationship for about two decades now – the reason why speaking the same language have become quite a nature between them.

"I've known this man for 20 years," said White, who was also present when Trump was officially nominated at the Republican National Convention back in 2016. "We’ve actually become even closer since he's become the President of the United States."

The 50-year-old businessman spoke highly about his friend, saying that there is more to discover about the President behind the scenes other than what the people see and criticize from the outside.

"This guy is so loyal and such a good friend. Every time I see him, I saw him today, when I met him on Air Force One, the first thing he said to me is, 'How is your family?'" White continued. "I see a lot of things from Mr. Trump that the public doesn’t see, and the people who surround me every day see how this man treats me as a friend and other people he's friends with."

"He's a fighter, he loves this country, he's doing great things for this country, and we gotta win this election again, ladies and gentlemen!" he added.
