A UFO expert claimed to have spotted several massive alien bases on the Moon. The expert estimated that one of the alleged bases is about half a mile long.

Claims regarding the alien bases on the Moon were made by Scott Waring of the UFO-centered blog ET Data Base. In his latest blog post, Waring used photos taken by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) mission on the Moon.

The LRO is a robotic spacecraft officially launched by NASA on June 18, 2009. As an orbiter, the LRO’s main objective is to take photos of the lunar surface from space. The images taken by the LRO are used by the agency to map out the Moon’s surface in preparation for future human and rover expedition missions on the lunar surface.

The photo that caught Waring’s attention features a portion of the Tycho crater. According to NASA, the image showcases how the floor of the crater melted after an impact event.

As Waring was examining the photo, he spotted certain features which he believes are artificial. According to the UFO expert, the strange features on the floor of the crater are bases operated by aliens on the Moon.

Waring noted that the alleged alien structures were made using dark-colored materials in order to blend with their surroundings. He estimated that the bases are massive, with one of them spanning about half a mile long.

“The black structure above is about half a mile long but looks to be almost new,” he stated in a blog post. “It’s made of a black material to keep it hidden and make it blend into the shadows. There were two other structures near this black one.”

“One looked very old and fungus-like and the other looked like a ship, since it was sitting above the surface,” Waring continued. “Many structures have been reported over the years in Tycho crater, and this just adds to that evidence.”

Despite Waring’s claims, the alleged alien structures could simply be cracks and indentations on the floor of the crater. Based on the photos, the three objects look like natural features on the Moon’s surface.
