'Uncharted': Sony Drops Tom Holland's 2-Minute-Long Exclusive Fight Scene [Watch]
Tom Holland, who plays Nathan Drake in the upcoming movie "Uncharted," could be seen fighting on a cargo plane against actress Tati Gabrielle and her team.
Sony Pictures has dropped a two-minute, 25-second exclusive video of a fight scene featuring Holland and co-star Mark Wahlberg. While Wahlberg (who plays Victor Sullivan) flies away from the plane, Holland stays back to fight with the enemies.
The action-packed scene shows Holland dodging bullets as all the cargo boxes fall off the plane one by one. The scene becomes intense when a series of boxes chained to each other fall off the plane and Holland's leg gets stuck in one of them.
The 25-year-old actor could be seen hanging out in the air on one of the cargo boxes while actress Sophia Ali, who is also present on the plane, fights against the enemies. Holland slowly climbs up with help of those boxes but eventually, a car from inside the plane hits the actor and he falls off.
"In the race to find the world's greatest treasure, you have to watch your step," Sony wrote in the description. The movie is slated to release exclusively in theaters on Feb. 18.
Fans seemed to be impressed by the action sequence, considering the fact that the movie is based on a video game of the same name.
"As much as how unrealistic it is even compared to the game, they nailed most of the motion sequence and Tom's lines are true to Drake's dialogues," one person wrote.
"They probably just showed the best scene in the movie, this was always my favorite set piece," another user commented.
A trailer of the movie was dropped last month, which explored the chemistry between Holland and Wahlberg.
The movie was written by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, who were also responsible for writing the "Iron Man" screenplay in 2008. The flick will also star Antonio Banderas and Patricia Meeden.
Besides "Uncharted," Holland will feature in an untitled biopic of Fred Astaire that is currently under pre-production.
