Thousands of revelers dressed in colorful costumes and masks took part in the annual Corpus Christi celebrations on Thursday. The 2011 celebrations were different as it coincided, for the first time in 95 years, with the celebration of San Juan Bautista.
Devil Dancers dressed in colourful attires swayed to the rhythm of drums and a string instrument called the cuatro. Normally, the festival of Corpus Christi is celebrated every year on June 23 with feasts, dances and other celebrations.
