US Economic Calendar For The Week Of Feb 25, 2019

This week’s economic calendar carries second reading on fourth-quarter growth rate and data on the housing market. The economy is expected to record a growth of 2.3 percent in the fourth quarter compared to 3.4 percent recorded in the third quarter.

Economists expect housing starts to see a decline of 1.7 percent to 1.248 million units in December. Building permits may see a fall of 2.8 percent to a rate of 1.293 million units in the month of December. S&P Case-Shiller home price index is expected to see a drop of 4.7 percent on an annualized basis.
