International Business Times poll on major U.S. economic indicators scheduled for release during the week of May 6, 2019.

Core consumer price inflation may inch up to 0.2 percent in April from 0.1 percent in March. ING said rising transportation fares and stronger housing component readings may contribute to an increase in core inflation. The headline inflation is expected to remain unchanged at 0.4 percent.

Producer price inflation may lose some momentum in April with the headline number slipping to 0.3 percent from 0.6 percent recorded in March. Other notable indicators on this week’s calendar include initial jobless claims, consumer credit and balance of trade.
