US Initial Jobless Claims Unexpectedly Drop To 365,000
U.S. initial jobless claims unexpectedly dropped by 27,000 to 365,000 for the latest week, the U.S. Labor Department announced Thursday, a total below the 378,000 Bloomberg consensus estimate.
Meanwhile, the more-telling, four-week moving average, which excludes anomalies such as strikes, and holidays, rose by 750 to 383,500.
