“This Is Us” fans will be disappointed if they were hoping to watch the Pearsons tonight. Season 4, episode 10 of the NBC drama will not air this week. Or next week. Or next month. Or this year. “This Is Us” is officially on winter hiatus.

The Big Three typically take a break around this time of year for the holidays, but they will be back in 2020. “This Is Us” Season 4, episode 10 airs Jan. 14 at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.

Fans will be anxiously awaiting the midseason premiere. After all, the fall finale ended with a shocking flash-forward that revealed Rebecca’s (Mandy Moore) dementia taking over in less than a year. The glimpse also showed that Randall (Sterling K. Brown) isn’t speaking to his brother, and Kevin (Justin Hartley) has a pregnant fiancée. Toby (Chris Sullivan) was also mysteriously missing from Kate’s (Chrissy Metz) birthday celebration—just as he and Kate are starting to have trouble in the present.

“Quite literally, that’s a nine-month jump. Every year, our stories pick up on our characters’ birthday, so that’s a jump ahead for their 40th birthday, which is a jump ahead to our Season 5 premiere,” co-showrunner Isaac Aptaker told TVLine. “So everyone’s questions about Rebecca and her status and how things have progressed will be answered by the beginning of next season because we’ll have caught up to that very moment.”

“This Is Us” fans can’t even get their Pearson fix with a rerun. Instead, NBC will air a new two-hour special, “Dolly Parton: 50 Years at the Opry.” The Nov. 26 program celebrates Parton’s half-century as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. In addition to a performance from the country singer, fans can expect appearances from other country heavyweights, including Dierks Bentley, Emmylou Harris, Chris Janson, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Margo Price, Hank Williams Jr. and others.
