Usain Bolt desires to watch Cricket legend Tendulkar play
Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has a new addition to his list of famous fans. Olympics champion Usain Bolt spoke of his desire to watch the Indian ace in action saying he was one of the greatest cricketers.
The world record holder for 100m and 200m sprints, which earned him the nickname 'lightning bolt', also spoke about World cup winning Indian captain MS Dhoni, in an interview with Indian news channel Times Now.
For me he (Tendulkar) is one of the greatest cricketers I have seen. He has done extremely well and he is a very aggressive cricketer. I look forward to the day when I can see him play live.
Tendulkar opted out of the ongoing test series against West Indies in Jamaica, and Bolt admitted that it would have been great had he not.
It would be great had he (Tendulkar) played in Jamaica. I want to see him play, that is my dream, he added.
He then went on to speak of Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, whom he watched during the first Test in Kingston.
I loved to watch Dhoni, he is aggressive. Both of them (Dhoni and Tendulkar) are aggressive players, he said.
He pointed out the explosive Chris Gayle as his favourite Windies player though the batsman didn't play a part in the match due to problems with the cricket board.
