Singer Usher has opened up about his 10-month-old baby girl, Sovereign Bo, and his role as a doting father.

The 42-year-old singer appeared on "Good Morning America" on Monday and admitted that he was loving "being a girl dad." It's "changing my colors; I'm wearing pink and cool stuff like that," he said.

The singer also shares two sons — Naviyd Ely Raymond and Usher Raymond V — with his ex-wife Tameka Foster.

"I'm definitely enjoying this little baby boom of ours," he said during the interview. "This new addition to the family has just been exciting."

The singer also wants his children to listen to his songs more often.

"I do wish that my kids listened to my music more," he said. "My second son, Naviyd, actually is the one who listens to my music more than anything. Usher, he doesn't care. Sovereign, she just likes me to sing to her."

Last month, the singer shared a sweet photo of his daughter on Instagram. In the photo, baby Sovereign kept her right hand on her father's chin while looking at him. Singer Eric Bellinger commented on the post at the time and wrote, "Nothing Else matters." Justin Bieber had also liked the post.

The "There Goes My Baby" star welcomed his first baby girl with his girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea in September 2020. The couple is now expecting their second baby together. Usher hosted the iHeartRadio Music Awards in May and his girlfriend flaunted her baby bump on the red carpet.

The singer was last featured in Marshmello's music video "Too Much," which dropped on Oct. 23, 2020. He also served as an executive producer and judge on the TV series "The Sauce."

He will perform this Friday at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Live Nation Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment will donate $1 from every ticket purchased to the non-profit Usher's New Look (UNK).
