Valentine's Day 2012 is well underway, from wedding ceremonies in India to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton's solo visit to The Brink in Liverpool.
Back in the US, folks are expected to spend an estimated $17.6 billion on Valentine's Day gifts this year, according to a survey from the National Retail Federation (NRF) .
That works out to be $126.03 per person, an 8.5 percent increase from last year and the highest in a decade.
Whether it's roses, chocolates or balloons for your sweetheart, or an exotic trip to the movies, love is definitely in the air for couples around the world.
