Valerie Bertinelli is happy to be finally divorced from ex-husband Tom Vitale.
Bertinelli couldn't hide her happiness when her divorce from Vitale got finalized. In a video she shared on Twitter, she expressed how happy she was that their papers were signed and would soon be filed.
"I'm at the airport. About to go see Wolfie. And my lawyer just called. The papers are all signed. They're about to be filed. On 11/22/22 I am officially f---ing divorced," she whispered into the phone.
"I am happily divorced. God, finally, it's finally over," she added before giggling, "Yes!"
Bertinelli, 62, filed for divorce from her second husband, financial planner Vitale, in May. They were married on New Year's Day in 2011 after seven years of dating. Their relationship began in 2004.
She filed for legal separation in November 2021 and has since been candid about their tumultuous relationship. She admitted that she had "trust issues."
"I can't imagine ever trusting anyone again to let into my life," she said about her future with dating on "Today," Fox News Digital repoted. "So I have some trust issues that I'm sure I'm going to have to get past," she said.
In September, she took to Instagram and shared snaps of some items from her wedding with Vitale that she was getting rid of. They included a pair of Jimmy Choo heels and Tiffany & Co. rings.
"Dropped a few things off with @therealreal," she wrote in the caption. "A couple of Tiffany rings that have some bad memories attached and a pair of shoes I wore to a wedding in January 2011. They should be up in a couple of weeks!"
Bertinelli was previously married to late rocker Eddie Van Halen from 1981 to 2007. However, they separated in 2001. They shared a son, Wolfgang "Wolfie" Van Halen.
Matthew Perry discussed his makeout session with Bertinelli in his new memoir "Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing." Perry said he harbored "elaborate fantasies about her leaving Eddie Van Halen and living out the rest of her days." When Van Halen was too drunk and "passed out not 10 feet away," they had "a long, elaborate makeout session."
Bertinelli seemingly reacted by sharing a video on TikTok set to Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" song. In the clip, she waved at the camera and smiled while the song played, "It's me. Hi, I'm the problem."
In the caption, she asked the netizens, "Anyone else misbehave[d] in their 20's and early 30's? Are you mortified?" Several reacted and said they could relate to her, but they were glad cameras were not as rampant then.
