‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 5 Spoilers: Episode 13 Synopsis Leaked Online; What Will Happen In ‘Total Eclipse Of The Heart’? [PHOTOS]

“Vampire Diaries” fans are in for an early Valentine’s Day treat. On Thursday, the CW show is breaking hearts … and maybe even ripping a couple of hearts out.

Episode 13, “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” will find Enzo stirring up trouble with Damon and Katherine still impersonating Elena in her body. Needless to say, turmoil is definitely brewing as the teen vampires take their problems from Mystic Falls to Whitmore College.

Thanks to a leaked synopsis, we know that Caroline will be dragging Elena (Katherine) and Bonnie to Whitmore’s “Bitter Ball” … a dance for broken-hearted students. And while Elena and Caroline should be mourning their torn-up relationships with their significant others, pictures from the coming episode tease that Katherine will waste no time trying to get back into Stefan’s arms.

Katherine’s games won’t be the only drama at Whitmore. It appears the college has a witch on campus – a student named Liv. Bonnie becomes intrigued by Liv when she discovers her “dabbling in witchcraft.” But will Liv befriend Bonnie? Or will someone try to keep the two apart?

Meanwhile, back in Mystic Falls, it sounds like Matt is still compelled to help Katherine impersonate Elena. Fortunately Tyler is back in town and begins to get suspicious of Matt’s relationship with Nadia.

As for the Salvatores, Damon and Enzo are still wreaking havoc and are “bent on revenge.” Whether or not Stefan comes across poor Aaron’s body is a mystery for now, but the good Salvatore will make a “disturbing discovery” that leads to a “frustrating conversation” with Damon and Enzo. That conversation might not go too well – because Damon and Enzo “resort to violence to convince Bonnie and Jeremy to help them.” Jeremy might still have his strength, but will Bonnie be able to protect the two of them without her magic? Fans will have to wait and see, but the synopsis reveals that Damon and Enzo’s plan “takes an unexpected and horrifying turn.”

Unfortunately the whole supernatural gang doesn’t realize that they're still in danger. Aaron may have cut off Dr. Wes from his family’s money, halting all vampire experiments … but Dr. Wes has a new benefactor named Sloan who wants him to continue his research.
