‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Spoilers: Damon To Lose Control, Bonnie Works With Heretics To Track Vampire Slayer
Latest spoiler news for the second half of “The Vampire Diaries” season 7 indicated that Damon will go wild in an upcoming episode, while Bonnie goes on a hunt with the heretics.
Before “The Vampire Diaries” went on its midseason 7 break, fans saw Damon and Stefan’s souls, played by Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, respectively, sucked into the Phoenix Stone. Although upcoming episodes of “The Vampire Diaries” season 7 will show just how the two Salvatore brothers will survive their personal hells inside the Phoenix Stone, it looks like Damon will be doing something unthinkable in episode 12 titled “Postcards from the Edge,” as described in the CW synopsis, TVOverMind reported.
The official synopsis released by CW for the said episode stated that Damon’s traumatic experience inside the Phoenix Stone will have him “spiraling out of control.” Apart from that, Somerhalder’s character will also end up under the influence of Julian, played by Todd Lasance. Wesley’s character Stefan will be on hand to help guide Damon back from his “descent,” however, he will also discover the “devastating reason” why Damon has been acting that way.
On the other hand, Kat Graham’s character Bonnie will also be having a hard time as she is forced to work with the heretics Nora (Scarlett Byrne) and Mary Louise (Teressa Liane), according to the CW episode 12 synopsis. The three ladies will band together in the said episode of “The Vampire Diaries” season 7 to track down the “ruthless” vampire hunter Rayna.
Actress Leslie-Anne Huff will portray the vampire hunter and previous reports indicated that she was a Nina Dobrev look-alike. Dobrev played Elena Gilbert in “The Vampire Diaries” before the actress left the show at the end of season 6. Aside from being a ruthless character, the vampire hunter Rayna has also been described as a fierce, smart and driven woman on a vengeance mission “after being taken out by her enemies.”
Meanwhile, actress Candice King is officially on her maternity break from “The Vampire Diaries.” The actress, who plays Caroline in the series, has yet to give birth but is expected to deliver her new baby in the next few weeks, showrunner Julie Plec shared in an E!News interview. King has already completed filming her scenes in “The Vampire Diaries” season 7 and will return towards the end of the season.
The second half of “The Vampire Diaries” season 7 will air on Friday, Jan. 29 on the CW.
