‘Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Spoilers: Episode 20 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Kill ‘Em All’? [VIDEO & PHOTOS]
Bonnie only has a limited amount of time left on “The Vampire Diaries.” The witch has started to see the side effects of the pills containing Rayna’s blood. That means her friends have to put their search for a cure into overdrive in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7, episode 20. However, finding a nonexistent cure is going to be a challenge.
Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will “lead the charge to save Bonnie [Kat Graham] before her condition worsens,” the synopsis for the CW drama says. It’s not really a surprising team up, but Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) partner is certainly unexpected.
“Stefan reluctantly teams up with Matt [Zach Roerig] for the sake of Bonnie and uncovers the truth behind Matt's anger towards him,” the synopsis teases. Will Stefan try to talk some sense into Matt, or will he understand the officer’s reasons?
Elsewhere, Caroline (Candice Accola) is getting back into the action after making her return last week, but Alaric (Matt Davis) might not be so happy about that. “Determined to help her best friend, Caroline joins Alaric on a mission and quickly realizes how much she’s missed her former supernatural lifestyle,” the summary reveals. The problem is that Alaric hasn’t been thrilled about being dragged into the vampire drama again. He wanted to return to his quiet life, so Caroline’s excitement might cause some tension.
The main focus, however, is Bonnie. As usual, plans will fall through, and that will lead Damon to make a difficult choice. “Finally, after their plan takes an unexpected turn, Damon makes a fateful decision that will forever change his relationship with Bonnie,” the synopsis teases.
What could this “unexpected turn” be? It might have to do with the vault. In the trailer for episode 20, the witch is very interested in the Armory’s locked room. Will she figure out what’s inside?

The good news is that Bonnie isn’t going anywhere yet. Kat Graham said she is signed on for Season 8, which will be her last season. Unfortunately, fans know that doesn’t guarantee her safety. After all, Bonnie has died on the drama several times and it always traumatizes her loved ones. Fans will have to hope that Bonnie stays alive for the sake of her friends.
“The Vampire Diaries” Season 7, episode 20 airs Friday, April 29, at 8 p.m. EDT on the CW.
