'Vanderpump Rules Star Kristen Doute Reveals How She Met 'Quarantine Babe' Alex Menache

Kristen Doute is technically single, but that doesn't mean she hasn't been enjoying time with a special someone.

The Bravo "Vanderoump Rules" star spilled that she was seeing someone in early 2020, and although she wouldn't give up his name, it still came out that the lucky fellow is likey Alex Menache. A few more weeks into their romance, Kristen still hasn't confirmed his name, but that didn't stop her from dishing out some juicy details.

During the May 3 episode of the "We Met at Acme" podcast, the 37-year-old reality star revealed, "I have a quarantine babe," before going into detail about how they met.

"[At] the end of the summer, beginning of the fall, I was just like dead single, like trying to date, hooking up with people, like really trying to just like ride that wave of … What is it like to be truly, truly single? And go out on random dates and like make out with my friend?" she explained.

"Then at some point, I won’t say when, eventually when [and] if we work out or if we don’t, I’ll eventually talk about [him] a bit more publicly, but yeah. It was just someone that I had been friends with and it was kind of like a drunken night and I was like, 'Hey, we’ve been friends and you’re hot. We should probably make out.' And so we did and we just kind of started hanging out because we were both single."

Despite being seemingly exclusive, the Detroit native clarified that she does not have a "boyfriend" but she is "dating."

"We've been seeing each other for like a few months, but we're having fun," she elaborated. "We've known each other for many years."

By taking her time and not "rushing into anything," Kristen's new relationship has the potential to be one she is proud of unlike some aspects of her friendships with "Vanderpump Rules" costars Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz.

In early April, the first-time author, whose book "He's Making You Crazy: How to Get the Guy, Get Even, and Get Over It" will be released on June 2, opened up about watching moments of her life playback as Season 8 airs for audiences across the country.

"I'm not proud of seeing my own actions," she admitted. "Emotions run high and logic runs low at times, rewatching all of this craziness."

"I rewatched it, and I wasn't proud of the way I spoke about [Stassi's] work ethic, because I definitely did not mean that," she added
