"Vanderpump Rules" stars Scheana Shay and Brock Davies are opening up about their wedding plans.
During a new interview with Us Weekly Monday, Shay and Davies spoke about starting a new chapter in their lives and how different their relationship was compared to their respective pasts as they prepare to tie the knot.
"I mean my first time around, I was in a different relationship — completely different. So marriage at this time around, I don’t know if this comes with the territory, like I’m not going anywhere and I don’t want to be with anybody else," Davies said. "So it kind of helps us build the family for me."
Shay, for her part, revealed that she is sure she has found a life partner in Davies. "I’m good. He’s my forever. So I’m happy. I can’t wait to marry him," she told the outlet.
The Bravo stars got engaged in July 2021. Davies was previously married, and his ex-wife lives in Australia with their kids. The "Good As Gold" singer, meanwhile, previously filmed her wedding to Mike Shay on the show in 2014, but they announced their separation in November 2016 and finalized their divorce the following year.
Shay and Davies teased that their wedding ceremony might be featured in "Vanderpump Rules" if the reality series gets renewed for Season 10.
"We don't know anything about next season yet, but if this happens to fall in the timeline of filming then absolutely. We would welcome [it]," Shay said.
Shay confirmed that her former boss Lisa Vanderpump will be attending their nuptials as a guest but would not be an officiant. The former SUR waitress also explained that the most important part of the wedding would be her getting to change her name to reflect her family.
"I wanna marry him because I love him, but one of the main reasons I wanna do it as soon as possible is just to get the process going," said Shay, who shares 10-month-old daughter Summer with Davies. "I definitely want to have the same last name as my future husband and my daughter. And I realized that Summer and I will have the same initials, which is pretty."
As for their wedding date, the couple hopes to hold the wedding sometime "between August and November" but isn't committed to a specific date yet. However, Shay said they want to tie the knot before Thanksgiving "so everyone can travel and be home."
Shay told People earlier this month that she and her sister will be flying abroad in March to look at potential wedding venues. The reality star said they are unsure which one of the three countries they have in mind to choose but confirmed that they "definitely" want a destination wedding.
"We're gonna see if this is the right country, if this is the right fit," Shay explained. "We have two other countries in mind. We definitely want to do destination."
Shay and Davies also opened up to People about the challenges of parenthood and whether or not they plan to welcome another child into their family.
Despite loving their time with Summer, both said they feel it is "too early" to start considering plans to give their 10-month-old baby girl a sibling. However, Shay said they were exploring the idea of surrogacy for their next child following her "traumatic labor."
