Vanessa Hudgens Hugs Jennifer Lopez On Last Filming Day For ‘Second Act’

Vanessa Hudgens gave Jennifer Lopez a tight hug after the filming of “Second Act” wrapped up on Friday, Dec. 15.

Lopez shared a video of the two of them on her Instagram account and announced to her millions of followers that they’ve completed all of their scenes. Hudgens admitted that she felt sad that their filming was finally over.

Hudgens and Lopez bonded on the set of “Second Act,” and the film will be released sometime next year.

Lopez also shared a photo with her entire “Second Act” team and thanked them for all of the hard work and effort they put in every single day.

“Second Act” was first announced in June, and it was dubbed by Variety as a romantic comedy. Lopez plays the role of Maya, a big box store employee who wants to prove that those who didn’t get college education can be successful in life.

In the film, Maya is in a relationship with Trey (Milo Ventimiglia), and she is best friends with Joan (Leah Remini). Hudgens plays the role of Zoe in the movie and other cast members include Freddie Stroma as Ron, Larry Miller as Weiskopf, Dave Foley as Felix, Annaleigh Ashford as Hildy and more.

Meanwhile, after completing the filming for “Second Act,” Lopez is expected to spend holidays with her twins, Max and Emme, and boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez. There are rumors that the former athlete will finally ask for Lopez’s hand in marriage.

A source recently told People that Lopez and Rodriguez will be celebrating the holidays with their respective children collectively. But after Christmas, Lopez and Rodriguez will be vacationing in the Bahamas.

“All the kids want Jennifer and Alex to get married. There are definitely talks about getting married, but Jennifer is old-school and will wait for the engagement ring before she entertains any wedding talk,” the source said.

The same source added that Lopez and Rodriguez are also delighted over the fact that their kids get along well. “Jennifer feels Alex is her soulmate and can’t believe how happy she is with him,” the source added.
