Vernee Apollo Lite Preorders To Begin Soon With $229 Pricing; Features Sharp IGZO Display, Helio X20 Chip, 4GB RAM, Samsung S5K3P3 Camera Sensor
Vernee, an upcoming Chinese smartphone maker, will launch its flagship smartphone named Vernee Apollo later this quarter. However, the company will soon begin the preorders of Apollo Lite, a lighter edition of Apollo, by the end of this month.
The Apollo Lite is a phablet device that comes with impressive specifications. It features a 5.5-inch Sharp IGZO screen that supports a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The MediaTek MT6797 SoC that is also called Helio X20 SoC will be powering the device. It will be coupled with 4GB of RAM. The company says that it will be cheapest smartphone ever to feature the powerful Helio X20 chipset.
It will come with an inbuilt storage of 32GB. It also features a hybrid SIM slot that allows users to either use a SIM card or a microSD card on its second SIM slot. The Apollo Lite will come preloaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The Apollo Lite will feature 16-megapixel S5K393 CMOS sensor from Samsung that will support features like phase detection autofocus and RWB. It will also have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Apollo Lite will be equipped with a fingerprint sensor on its rear side. It also features a USB Type-C port that supports USB Type-C earphones that will allow users to listen to lossless digital music, Phones Review reported. The smartphone also features a 3.5 mm audio jack.
It will be packed with a 3180 mAh battery that will carry support for Pump Express 3.0 quick charging. The Apollo Lite sports a premium appeal as it is equipped with a full metal design. The smartphone will be available for purchase from next month. Vernee will be revealing exact dates for preorders and market release for Apollo Lite later in the month.
