‘A Very Vintage Christmas’ Lifetime Movie Premiere: Cast, Trailer, Synopsis
Some of the magic of the holiday season lies in the people who try to make it special for others and the love that they make possible, and that will be the truth as well with the premiere of the newest Lifetime Christmas movie, “A Very Vintage Christmas,” starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Jesse Hutch.
Mowry-Hardrict is no stranger to fans who remember her from her 90s show with her twin sister Tamera, “Sister, Sister,” or their Disney movie franchise “Twitches.” She is also recognizable for her roles in “the Game” and “Instant Mom” as well but just happens to be a vet when it comes to Christmas movies too. She showcased her impressive singing voice in ABC Family’s 2012 film “The Mistle-Tones,” and also went on to star in both Lifetime’s “My Christmas Inn” and Hallmark’s “A Gingerbread Romance” in 2018.
Hutch, of course, is no stranger to holiday movies either. The former “American Dreams” actor starred in Hallmark’s 2013 film “Let It Snow,” Lifetime’s “Becoming Santa” in 2015 and ION’s “Snowmance” in 2017.
So what will happen when these two pros team up for a special holiday adventure? Let’s find out.
“The Christmas lights are up and shoppers are flooding the quaint town of Mountain View, including one special store, Very Vintage Antiques. The shop’s owner, Dodie (Mowry-Hardrict), is a hopeless romantic and absolutely one of a kind, similar to the pieces in her shop,” a synopsis teases. “When Dodie finds a hidden box containing an eclectic collection of mementos chronicling a timeless romantic union, she makes it her mission to deliver it to its rightful owner.”
However, when her search leads her to a new man who joins her adventure, the unexpected may happen as she tries to solve the mystery and give someone else a joyful Christmas.
“Dodie manages to persuade the handsome new tenant, Edward (Hutch), at the listed address to help her with her search,” the synopsis continues. “Will they find the true owner and true love on their adventure?”
“A Very Vintage Christmas” airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
