In honor of Veteran's Day 2017, several retailers will be slashing prices and offering special discounts to their shoppers, in the hopes they can entice them into store a few weeks ahead of the traditional shopping season.

Some retailers are offering specific discounts to shoppers that will give them access to all kinds of great finds, while others are specifically saluting both active and retired members of the armed forces with special offers just for them.

Here's a list of retailers where you can find great deals for Veteran's Day:

  • Aeropostale: Use code EXTRA30 to take an extra 30 percent off clearance merchandise.
  • Bloomingdale's: Using promo code PRIVATE, shoppers can take $25 off of every $100 they spend on select regular-priced items. Loyalists can also get a $25 reward card for every $100 they spend.
  • Brookstone: Get free shipping with any purchase of $75 or more with code SHIP75.
  • Carter's: Get Buy One Get One Free on all shoes and boots including Osk Kosh B'Gosh, with no promo code needed.
  • Crocs: No discount code is needed on the Crocs website, as almost everything is 25 percent off in honor of the holiday.
  • Disney Store: Use code DISNEYPAL to take 25 percent off your entire purchase.
  • Eddie Bauer: Take up to 60 percent off of everything, no coupon code required.
  • Express: Take 40 percent off everything, no sales code or coupons required.
  • Finish Line: Take 20 percent off select styles with code THANKS20.
  • Gap: Take an extra 20 percent off your purchase using promo code CHEERS.
  • JcPenney: Use code FALLNOW to take an extra 25 percent off purchases under $100, or 30 percent off of purchases $100 or more.
  • Kohl's: Use promo code QUICK15 to take an extra 15 percent off any purchase, plus receive $10 Kohl's cash for every $50 spent.
  • Littman Jewelers: Using promo code SALE, take an extra 10 percent off prices that are already reduced 30 percent or more.
  • Macy's: Use code VETS to get either an extra 10, 15 or 20 percent off in select departments, plus receive $10 Macy's Money for every $50 spent.
  • Modell's Sporting Goods: Use code WESALUTE to take either 10 percent off a purchase of $75, 15 percent off a purchase of $100 or 20 percent off a purchase of $150 or more.
  • PacSun: To save up to 25 percent off of a purchase, use code SAVEALOT.
  • Target: Veterans can register online to receive a discount code that will allow them and their families to take 10 percent off any purchase as a thank you for their service.
  • Woman Within: Get an extra 40 percent off boots and up to 50 percent off coats, jackets and sweaters with code WWE8489.
