Victoria Beckham is known for her elegant sense of fashion and her glam looks. The ex-Spice girl, who has time and again reinvented her looks, is now regarded as a fashion icon with a large group of fan following.

The designer's first foray into the world of high fashion was during the year 2000 when she took to the catwalk for designer Maria Grachvogel's London Fashion Week show. Beckham then acted as a British ambassador for luxury brand Dolce and Gabbana and was also the face of Rocawear in 2003.

However, it was only in the year 2006 that Victoria started to work on her own fashion label. She started with a line of sunglasses and denims and later moved to couture collections and designer dresses. Following this, it has been a rollercoaster ride for the designer from one fashion event to another.

The year 2011 has been a stellar year for Victoria with her creations being showcased by a host of celebrities and receiving the prestigious Designer Brand of the Year gong at the British Fashion Awards.
