Victoria’s Secret model Gigi Hadid And Cody Simpson Reconciliation: ‘I Want To See It’ Says Simpson’s Sister

Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson are just one of the Hollywood couples who called it quits this year. However, a few members of Simpson’s family are still hoping that two will eventually find their way back to each other someday.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight during the Children's Miracle Network Winter Wonderland Ball, Cody’s sister Alli and his father shared that they are still hoping for a reconciliation between the former Hollywood couple. When Entertainment Tonight asked of the possibility of a romance rekindling between Cody and Gigi, Alli stated, "I want to see it. I'm waiting for it."

She also revealed that she has remained close with the Victoria’s Secret model despite the couple’s break-up. Alli told Entertainment Tonight, "I text her kind of every day. She's always been like a big sister to me, and she helped me through my personal insecurities."

Cody and Gigi broke up in May this year, however, the two remained on friendly terms with each other. A representative shared during the height of their break-up that the two stars decided to separate so they can each focus on their own careers, Entertainment Tonight reported.

"Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career,” stated the rep.

Meanwhile, since the former couple split, Gigi has moved on to a new relationship with Joe Jonas. Unfortunately, after five months of dating, Gigi and Joe decided to end their Hollywood romance in November. The reason behind the separation was said to be the two stars’ busy schedules.

Soon after Gigi and Joe’s separation, the Victoria’s Secret model was also spotted hanging out with former One Direction band member, Zayn Malik, which sparked dating speculations between the two.
