When Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer meet on the court, there is always the potential for some amazing plays.

Now, even the ball girls have gotten into the act.

During the third set of Thursday's men's semi-final at the 2012 Australian Open, Federer gave a sharp forehand following a stopped point. The tennis ball was hit pretty hard, but the ball girl by the net was able to make an excellent one-handed grab.

The play drew a roar from the crowd, as the ball girl immediately returned to her stance by the net as Federer began to serve. The ball girl didn't have a glove, yet she handled it perfectly.

It was a play that was similar to an NHL goalkeeper grabbing a flying puck.
