In the tradition of viral sensations like "Permit Patty," another video has spread on social media, though this one was on the risk of escalating to violence. It involved a white campground manager who pulled a gun on a black couple having a picnic.

The confrontation occurred at a Mississippi campground when Jessica Richardson and her husband Franklin decided to have a day out all to themselves. After spending some time looking on Google, the couple found a lake in Starkville where they enjoy a picnic with their dog.

After arriving at the Kampgrounds of America location by the lake, the couple saw a white truck pulling up. It wasn’t long after that Richardson started recording on her phone.

“Not five mins later a truck pulls up and a white lady screams at us, she then jumps out of her truck with a Gun. And proceeded to point it at the 3 of us, simply because we didn't make reservations,” Jessica Richardson said on a Facebook post that accompanied the video.

Once they explained the situation to the woman, she appeared to calm down and pocket her gun. The couple then gathered their things and left.

But that wasn’t before they decided to report her to the camp manager.

“After leaving my husband stopped by the office and talked with her husband (they're the property managers),” Richardson’s Facebook post continued. The woman’s husband also revealed “that reservations aren't needed for the lake.”

Since the incident, the video spread on social media after being posted.

Kampgrounds of America has since fired that the unnamed manager.
