Real Madrid advanced to the semi-finals of Champions League with another convincing win over Apoel as Los Galacticos cruised to a second leg romp on Wednesday at Santiago Bernabeu, 5-2.

Real Madrid defeated the Cyprus squad on aggregate, 8-2. Los Galacticos will face Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.

Jose Mourinho's squad received two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as scores from Kaka, Jose Maria Callejon, and Angel Di Maria.

The goal from Kaka, in the 36th minute, was particularly notable. The Brazilian curled a ball from beyond the box, that brought the home crowd to a roar.

Apoel received goals through Gustavo Manduca and Esteban Solari's penalty kick.

Real Madrid was the clear aggressor. Los Galacticos took 21 shots with eight on goal, while Apoel took nine shots with three on goal. Real Madrid also controlled possession for 70 percent of the match.
