Justin Bieber's Las Vegas video, in which he appeared to be "yelling" at his wife Hailey Baldwin, took the internet by storm over the weekend. However, according to eyewitnesses, people misunderstood the situation.
The video, which originally went viral on TikTok, has already been taken down, Cosmopolitan reported. However, many were able to repost it on other social media sites, including Twitter.
One of the Twitter users, @JBCrewdotcom, who shared the video wrote in the caption, "Justin and Hailey Bieber spotted out in Las Vegas (July 9)."
In the clip, Bieber could be seen exiting XS nightclub at the Wynn, which he visited Saturday. The 27-year-old singer wore a green plain t-shirt with black and green shorts. On the other hand, the 24-year-old model donned an all-black short dress. The singer talked to his wife as they kept walking.
According to some fans, it looked like Bieber was "yelling" at his wife and they took to the video's comments section to express concern for Baldwin.
One of them asked, "Why is he screaming at his wife!!!"
"He's not happy his face says he's yelling," another fan commented.
Another netizen even went as far as taking a jab at Bieber and wrote, "Looks like he is throwing a tantrum for having to leave the party... but Mom said it was past his bedtime!"
However, a number of eyewitnesses came forward to defend the singer and set the record straight.
One of them wrote on Twitter Monday that the singer had not been yelling at his wife and explained, "We were there to witness what went down. He was all adrenaline. It doesn't matter how the f--k it 'appears' to you. Don't spread false information on someone especially when you acknowledge that’s just what it appears to you. That's defamation of character."
Another eyewitness tweeted, "My friends and I were with/behind him the whole night, he was in the best mood and was telling her a story but ofc internet lames love their lil scenarios."
Some fans also came to Bieber's defense by sharing their observations on the video. "They don't seem to be yelling, as in mad at each other. People are screaming all over the place. He is probably talking loud so she can hear him," one of them said.
On the work front, Bieber is all set to perform on July 24 for "The Freedom Experience" event in Los Angeles.
