Two attendees of a baseball game at Toronto, Canada's Rogers Centre were kicked out of the premises earlier this week after they were caught allegedly having sex during the match.

A pair of fans of the Toronto Blue Jays engaged in an apparent sex act in the 500 level of the stadium as their team fought against the Chicago Cubs Monday, blogTO reported.

What looked like a woman in a white dress straddled a man at the very back of the seats, censored footage obtained by the outlet showed.

In another clip, a yellow-vested police officer and a security guard approached the two fans as they appeared to continue having sex.

"[Police] said the guy flew in to meet this girl. This was their first meeting," Dimitri Karakostas, a witness who was able to film the act on video, was quoted as saying.

Both fans were later escorted out of Rogers Centre, according to blogTO.

The Toronto Police Service told the outlet that it had no information related to the incident, which suggested that no charges were laid out over what happened.

The Blue Jays ended up winning against the Cubs that day with a score of 5-4.

In a similar story, police in California recently launched an investigation after two people were caught engaging in what appeared to be a sex act during another official Major League Baseball game.

Two fans allegedly had sex in the stands of RingCentral Coliseum as home team the Oakland Athletics faced off against the Seattle Mariners on Aug. 21.

A woman appeared to be performing oral sex on a man while the two were isolated near the top of the stadium's section 334, supposed footage of the incident that was uploaded to social media showed.

Authorities, who were aware of the allegations, have since launched an investigation.

"The Oakland Police Department was not alerted to this incident until after the game, and we were advised that A's staff/cameras did not capture video of this during the game. We have initiated an investigation. However, the parties have not been identified, and no one has been cited/arrested at this time. The violation is 647(a) PC. Lewd acts in public," the police department's public information officer said in a statement.

Should they be charged and convicted, the two fans each face a penalty of up to six months in jail as well as a fine of $1,000.
