Cameras have caught Chelsea right back Branislav Ivanovic delivering a punch to Wigan Athletic forward Shaun Maloney during a Premier Leage match.

Ivanovic is expected to received a suspension for the violent conduct by the Football Association for the attack during Saturday's match at Stamford Bridge. The Blues star didn't receive a yellow card for the incident as official Michael Jones didn't see Maloney go down.

Chelsea won the match, 2-1, which was aided by a 62nd strike by the Serb.

If Ivanovic is found guilty, he could face a three-match ban, which would include Chelsea's FA Cup semifinal match against Tottenham on Sunday.
