On Friday's episode of the View Whoopi Goldberg questioned Kate Gosselin about what caused the police to be called over to the Gosselin's home.

Kate visited on Jon's custody day saying that she had time and wanted to check on the children as he had hired a babysitter that both didn't approve of.

My intuition kept saying 'No, no, no!' Kate said about the babysitter that Jon hired.

Whoopi was of the opinion that the law is the law - and that it was illegal for her to be there and criticized her for going there in the first place.

You could have gone to jail! Whoopi said, adding, Do you realize that?
