The lawyer of Rachel Uchitel, one of Tiger Woods' alleged mistresses, has threatened to sue the The View for calling her client a hooker on the show.

On Thursdays episode, Joy Behar joked about Uchitel's name saying, You-ka-tell she's a hooker as Whoopi Goldberg struggled to pronounce the name Uchitel.

According to reports form TMZ, the play on her name was intended as a joke and they sincerely apologize for the choice of words and for any misimpression the joke may have created.

Uchitel's lawyer, Gloria Allred, had demanded the apology which left her upset with what she described as a highly offensive remark.
